Lynn is a Herding Judge in the CKC, AKC and AHBA Herding Programs. She is also the CKC Herding Representative for the British Columbia Southwest Zone. She is the only member of the of the CKC Herding Council that was directly involved with the orginal design and proposal for the CKC Herding Program. Lynn is experianced with upright loose-eyed dogs, as well as Border Collies and other strong-eyed breeds. She trials her Border Collies and Australian Cattle Dogs all over the PNW.

Larry Painter is a well-respected and accomplished herder with a growing following of students both human and canine. His signature technique for a solid foundation is Rope, Rake, & Round Pen. Larry is also a herding judge for the American Kennel Club (AKC) and American Herding Breed Association (AHBA). His judging and instructing has taken him all over the world.

This is a camp suitable for ALL levels, from novice to advanced dogs and handlers., all meals are included as well, there are 2 AHBA trials for campers only! Each dog will get at least 3 runs per day. Campers will be helping out with chores (taking care of livestock, bringing in livestock, sorting livestock, helping set out meals etc.) Free on site camping. Sorry no hook ups. Limited number of entrants: Only twelve (12) openings. Costs are:

  • $700/dog* (you are welcome to work one dog under Larry and a different dog under Lynn for the price of one dog)
  • Auditing (no dog)- $100*

There will be NO refunds for cancellations unless the spot can be filled by someone on a waitlist (does no apply to auditors). There is no discount for mulitple dogs, switching dogs during a clinic is not permitted unless cleared by the clinic host and the clinician, and will incur an additional fee. There is a STRICT stoop'n'scoop policy. ALL dogs must be crated or on leash at all times when not being instructed, unless in designated off-leash areas.

Each dog will get at least 3 runs per day. Includes all meals and refreshments. Free onsite camping by pre-arrangement only. Sorry no hook-ups.

This Clinic is limited to 12 dogs! There are 6 CKC Herding Trials to follow!
